'Continuum' 40in. x 40in. $1,000.00
This mandala was partially inspired by the floral beadwork patterns in my Great Great Grandmother's beadwork. Suzette was a Metis from Northern Alberta, Canada and her creative beadwork was renowned throughout the Rocky Mountains. I like to think that our ancestors are here among us and flavour our creations. See my links page for the work of a contemporary Metis artist who creates whole works based on the beadwork patterns.
