'Regalos de las manos' (Gift From the Hands) SOLD
The geometric centre motif of this Mandala is based on the beautiful hand work created by the Mexican and South American aboriginal people. The intricate three dimensional sculptures eventually became the popsicle stick 'gods eyes' that kids today build. I have included examples of other meditative handwork from many cultures. Included are basketweaving, tile mosaic, Pysanky egg decorating and some of the very first cave wall 'marks' made by mankind.
