The following works are a passion project of the artist. The historical and educational nature of the work requires intensive research and consultation. Some pieces reflect Métis culture, while others touch on themes such as ecology, spirituality, global peace, or even simply a poem.
Created with sepia and metallic inks, watercolour, wax resist and gold leaf on watercolour paper, with embellishments of beads, porcupine quill, hide or velvet. The 'Forget-Me-Not, Métis Rose' designs are collaborative pieces with artist Lisa Shepherd. Originals, 30" x 30" in whitewash shadowbox frame. If you'd like to purchase a design below that is no longer in print, please contact the artist.
