ILLUSTRATION
Known for sepia tones and glowing lines created with a quill pen, the artist's technique has been likened to the work of Victorian Illustrators such as Arthur Rackham or contemporary Charles Van Sandwyck. Some of the pieces echo cloisonné enamel or even stained glass. Kristi works in eco-friendly materials, such as sepia ink, quill pen, water based paints, and recycled products.
Illustration awards in Canada and the US including the Governor General's Illustration Award Shortlist, Victoria Book Prize and the Canadian Childrens Book Centre, Best Books for Kids and Teens.
