Jimmy Goes Home
Written by Joan Dobbie, Illustrated by Kristi Bridgeman
Published by Fort Langley,  Parks Canada
This publication was coordinated by Fort Langley for educational programing. As a Metis rediscovering her own ancestry, the artist found the project fascinating. The research took many months and allowed for an exploration of early travel from the Rockies to the Coast and a retracing of her Great Grandparents own journey. With sincere gratitude to historians at Parks Canada for all of their help with the research.

This story, along with a lesson plan for educators, is available through the Fort Langley National Historical Site.
