In Métis culture, a Rougarous is a shape-shifter; a man/woman that changes into a wolf. Caribou & the Rougarous questions who is to blame for the struggling numbers of caribou and eventual disappearance of one of the Métis’ cultural identity pieces, the art of caribou hair tufting.
